Welcome to Pilates and Yoga Form
With Karen Meek. Human movement has always interested me and during the 20 years I have been teaching, I have continued to develop my knowledge, training and experience with a focus now on teaching Pilates and Yoga in group and 1:1 settings.
My mat and studio equipment qualifications gained in 2002 through Body Control Pilates Association have provided a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and human movement patterns, together with an emphasis on combining correct alignment, control & ease of movement. I have been fortunate to train and study under the guidance of Jo Redfearn, Lisa Bradshaw, Miranda Bass, Charlie Thomas and many other great pilates teachers.
I have been practising Yoga for over 20 years and I am a qualified 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher. I teach a flow style yoga class, with attention to good alignment. I continue to be inspired by my own teachers, Sally Parkes, Tania Brown, Maurizio Marmorato, Fiona Edwards.
I offer group mat classes, (including pregnancy and post natal) in Herne Hill, Dulwich & surrounding areas, as well as 1:1 Pilates Reformer sessions from my studio in Herne Hill, SE24.
Classes can also be arranged at your workplace or at your home.
